As part of its Continuing Medical Education Programme the Medical Centre conducts lectures from time to time by leading specialists on various developments in the field of Medicine for the benefit of General Practitioners.
Details of CME programmes held during 2001-02:
i) CME programme on advances in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery was held :on 24th June,2001 The topics covered were
(a) Management of unstable Angina /NQSTMI.
(b) Current Concepts in hypertension.
(c) Myocardial revascularisation.
ii) CME on :" How to choose your drugs" was held on 17th Feb,2002 The topics covered were:
(a) Anti Hypertensive.
(b) Antibiotics.
(c) Anti Diabetes.
iii) CME on - Diabetes related topics was held on 3rd March,2002 . The topics covered were:
(a) Genetics of Diabetes.
(b) Current concepts in the Management of Type II Diabetes.
(c) Pitfalls in the Management of Diabetes.
(d) The eyes and Diabetes.
